Noggisoggi's Personal Infodump

AlphaPlace is a Minecraft Beta 1.1_02 server run by Windows7Ultimate. (Discord: @kero_blaster)
It uses Factions, but it's configured to be more like Towny.
The reason it doesn't use a1.2.6 is mostly because of server-side inventory and bug fixes.

AlphaPlace's spawn: the interior. AlphaPlace's spawn: the exterior with the wordmark.

Backstory and origins:

I've joined AlphaPlace on 3 June of 2022, after watching AntVenom's video about fixes for old MC versions.
I then ventured into the Skylands the same day - it was a dimension that was based off the prototype in the code of Beta 1.6-1.8.
After exploring it for a while and obtaining some resources, I went back to the overworld and established a base, or rather, a cobblestone box ~10,000 blocks away from spawn (now oldspawn4).
A few days after that, I went back into the Skylands and started a journey to head 10,000 blocks away from its spawn.
I had to use /home and /back several times as I didn't know that I could have multiple homes.
After 5 days, I completed the journey and I established another base - named soggyBrane. A few weeks later, I decided to throw away my items in-game and disband the soggyBrane faction thinking that I wouldn't play anymore - I was sorely wrong. I then had to repeat that journey, and I couldn't find my base, even though I was relatively near, so I created another base.

In August of 2022, I was suddenly banned without a reason (not via the LMBS) other than the default "The Ban Hammer has spoken!" that Essentials uses.
So, I joined Discord, and AlphaPlace's guild on the 30th in order to seek an explaination.
Turns out, my player data was corrupt and me joining the server caused it to crash, so my player data had to be removed.

AlphaPlace's Discord: Windows7Ultimate clarifying stuff about my player data.
And then, on September 2nd, I advertised a server on RetroMC, which got me a hit from the LMBS banhammer (then called Johny Bans).
I appealed later that day, and it was accepted.
I was going to wait until October 3rd to get unbanned, but I asked for an exception on AlphaPlace and I was added to /mbexceptions list.

SkyCore/SkyVoid/Katsmarht:

This faction was made on September 16th of 2022 by NullGodGaming. The main differentiating factor was its location: the Skylands.
There's a timeline which I've made for this faction: SkyCore-SkyVoid-Katsmarht-timeline.txt
TL;DR: SkyCore's notable builds were: an office in the Nether, a 'void' district under the surface, a timeline, and a statue.
Due to a lack of space and a potential grief risk, the location was changed to somewhere far away.
I asked for ownership from Null a couple of times, but he denied; I asked for adminship and I was given faction admin privileges.
A Nether gym, canteen, communications tower, and an entrance to an unused Void district were made.
The Skylands warp (not world) was removed and I told every member to migrate to a location I selected in the Overworld.
In new, new SC, a cubicle, a restroom and another communications tower were constructed.
I lost motivation after a while, and gave back ownership back to Null.

After leaving SC, I joined Pilo1218's faction, Fakeland, and I continued my builds there.
My building style nowadays is partly inspired by my builds in SkyCore.
After I gave ownership, Null changed the faction name to "Katsmarht", and changed the blocks of the robotic lion.
Null also built a netherrack tower.
Another member by the name of TheEnder2317 joined Katsmarht, and built a bakery there on June 12th.
I haven't seen much activity from this faction since that date, barring a few times where Null joined occassionally, and on April 1st of 2024, he built the Core from Cave Story.

Fakeland:

Originally formed by Pilot1218, I took ownership on August 18th of 2023 (briefly returned it to Pilot on Sep 4 and got it back on the 20th), and as mentioned before, I continued my builds there, including two notable things: the Fakeland Educational Complex and the Underground Complex.
I also maintained and updated the timeline, alongside Pilot; the timeline can be seen here: Fakeland-timeline.txt
Due to a combination of inactivity/apathy and internal issues, I shut down all currently active projects related in Fakeland on the 19th of March, 2024.

Staff membership:

AlphaPlace's Discord: A discussion about why a certain player was still in the server.
And thus, I was promoted to Helper on December 15th, 2022.
During my time as Helper, I helped new players with information about the server itself, what commands to use & and the instructions to exit spawn (/warp oldspawn4, it has a elevator sign courtesy of CraftBook/FalseBook.).
Owing to my timezone, I was able to report several griefs shortly after I got promoted.

I was promoted to Moderator on 13th January 2023; I've been fixing griefs, and enforcing the server rules since then.
Shortly after I got promoted, a wave of griefers attacked /warp wild; I swiftly banned them when I saw them destroying a build, and undone their griefs.
For example: https://bans.johnymuffin.com/b/0f182E

On the JBans website, bans usually have evidence in the form of images and text.
The way you upload evidence is to log into the site with an authentication code, obtained from /jbcode.
Prior to my involvment, only RetroMC and BetaLands used the evidence system.
I took the liberty of uploading evidence to most bans from AlphaPlace after /jbcode was given to moderators on 2nd February of 2023.

Another wave of trolls appeared around late-April to early May, and obviously, I banned them for various things.
Because of this wave of nonsense (and other factors), I was promoted to Admin on 1st May.
To this day, I still staff for AlphaPlace, and I've been happy staffing for it since my initial promotion.

In the days leading up to and on 2nd of November, I was promoted to Co-Owner.
Due to my activity, Windows7Ultimate promoted me to basically handle most of the responsibilities on AlphaPlace. AlphaPlace's Discord: An announcement about my promotion to co-owner.
This has been quite a wild ride - from a banned player due to corrupt player data, to the co-owner.
I thank everyone who helped along in my journey on AlphaPlace.
